This Parador provides a welcoming rustic retreat. The interior is simple and unpretentious with a pleasant sitting room with comfortable furniture and large windows. The Parador has a swimming pool and terrace, both with splendid views (in autumn one might even see stags fighting), and there is also a children’s play area in the garden, while inside the hotel the decorative theme reminds one of a hunting lodge. Both large and small game regularly feature on the Parador’s restaurant menu when in season. The Parador also organises 4×4 excursions around the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas Natural Park and this usually takes about 4 hrs to complete.
The Parador is located 26 km from Cazorla. The route is signed and access is via the town of Burunchel. Take the N-322, which connects to Úbeda and Baeza, and then the A-319 towards Peal de Becerro-Cazorla.
Some 24 km from the town of Cazorla, northeast of Granada in the heart of the Cazorla Nature Reserve, a refuge for fox, deer, wild boar and ibex.
