Parador de Jarandilla de la Vera

This is an exceptional Parador as this 15th century castle was once the home of Emperor Carlos V and is located in the heart of the town centre. The outstanding exterior features include the turrets and the parade ground. The tennis court and swimming pool are located in the extensive gardens where there are outdoor patios with seating areas. Inside there are grand halls with fireplaces which provide an intimate and peaceful atmosphere. Refreshments can be taken at the bar while meals are served at the restaurant where local dishes are the speciality of the chef.
