Parador de La Gomera

The Parador de La Gomera is stunningly situated on a terrace high above the sea, with views across to the island of Tenerife and its lofty Pico Teide. The terrace also features a swimming pool, and the surrounding garden is replete with subtropical plants. The Parador itself is a traditional, unpretentious Canary manor house, with a veranda and a beautiful pantiled roof, and inside the furniture combines Castilian and Isabelline styles. Typical Canary Island dishes on offer in the restaurant. All the rooms have a private bathroom, telephone, television and satellite and a mini bar.

How To Arrive

The island can be reached by boat from Port Los Cristianos on Tenerife or by plane from Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

The spectacular volcanic island of La Gomera is the second smallest of the Canary Islands, and was Christopher Columbus’s last port of call before he sailed for America. Flights are to the neighbouring island of Tenerife from where there is an excellent ferry service.
