A modern building on the left bank of the River Tormes, with stunning views across the river to the old city – a particularly fine sight at night, when it is floodlit. The Parador de Salmanca provides an elegant, spacious and comfortable base from which to explore this fascinating city. Tastefully decorated throughout with much use of marble, the hotel has lush tropical gardens, with a swimming pool and tennis court and a children's playground. There is also a sauna, a Turkish bath and a gym. Salamanca specialities are served at the restaurant. How To Arrive

From Zamora, take the road for Béjar and Portugal. From Madrid, take the N-VI to Sanchidrián and follow signs for Salamanca. The Parador is located on the left, before entering the city.

The Parador de Salamanca is situated near the Tormes river and close to the historical and cultural centre of the city of Salamanca. It is on a small hill enjoying fantastic views of the city and the cathedral.
